Margreeth Maclean and friends from the Netherlands hiked the Pelgrimstog van Hoop from Stellenbosch to Cape Agulhas in November 2023, a pilgrimage of over 300km. They stayed over at Rusty Gate Mountain Retreat for some welcome rest for weary legs, and sustenance in the South African way – braaivleis!
